I have coached VEX Robtotics Teams since 2012, when VEX was first introduced in Arkansas. I started with one big team, and split to one all girls team, and one co-ed team. The Girls Team, #3443A, has been to the TSA National Conference for VEX Robotics in 2012 (Orlando), 2013 (Baltimore), 2014 (Dallas), and 2015 (Nashville). My girls have now graduated, and I am pleased to say that all are entering in a STEM or STEM related field.
In 2016 I started the very first VEX U team in Arkansas. We travel to Oklahoma and Texas to compete. In our first year at the Texas state tournament, we were given the judges award- though our robot wasn't stellar, the judges were very impressed that all members of my team were future math or science teachers! (Most teams are from engineering departments)
If you want to start a team at your school, and you need some assistance -
please contact me! I am happy to help you get started!

Any registered team is able to use our field... just fill out the contact form to the right. Additionally, if you need help with building or programming - we got you covered for that as well! Just let us know when you fill out the form. |
